What exactly is a safe list, and how do you use them?

A safe list is an email list you can join for free, and in returning for joining you are alowed to email out to the entire list of members that join.
Usually most safelists have different levels of memberships you can join at, and
each different level will allow you to email more members more often.

The best types of safe lists to join are ones that are credit based.
Joining a credit based safe list makes sure members visit your website,
because in order for them to send their ad they must earn credits.
The only way to do this is by clicking on links to your website
in the emails that are sent out.

The vast majority of people who use safelists to market their programs get
minimal results and never understand why that is.
Most of them think it's the safelist's fault, not theirs.Or they think it's the program they're promoting'sfault. It must not be a very good program they think
to themselves.

Let me tell you, most safelists are good. Most of them are effective if they are
used in the right way.

Rather than use safelists to advertise my program, I use them to build my own opt-in list. In effect, their list becomes MY list.
I take over the people that advertise on safelists.

Then, I advertise to my opt-in list instead which is much more effective and
much more profitable than advertising my program directly on the safelists.

Why? Because for one thing, when you build your own opt-in list you get multiple opportunities to send your offers directly to the people on your list.
Actually, you are creating your own, exclusive list of prospects to market to.

You've probably heard the saying:
"The money is in the list."

That is so true! The most successful marketers have huge opt-in lists of their own to send offers to. So, what you want to do with safelists is use them to build your opt-in list.

To build your own, profitable opt-in list you need to use lead capture pages and autoresponder.

What is a Lead Capture Page?

This is a web page that is specifically designed to collect names and email
addresses. It has an opt-in form on itself. When people opt-in on this form they become a lead (or subscriber).

The reason people fill out the opt-in form is usually so they can download
something (a report, a product, an ebook a video etc.) or so they can gain
access to a particular website.

Your goal is not to sell anything here, as your profits will come from follow up emails.

What is an autoresponder?

An AutoResponder is a powerful Email Marketing tool used by organizations around the world to stay connected with customers, prospects,and members.

An AutoResponder is a system that Automatically Responds to requests for
information. These requests can come via email or via online forms online.

But more than just an automated response system, AutoResponders can be set up to
send follow up letters, special offers, announcements, training information,
updates and more.
